Jenkins Roofing and Construction is family owned and operated by husband and wife Chris and Lauren Jenkins. Over the last five plus years Chris and Lauren have built a roofing and construction business together utilizing their own individual skills. Chris with 20 plus years in Construction, and Lauren with 10 plus years in corporate management.

Chris Jenkins was first introduced to construction as a young child. While growing up, his parents built two homes, from clearing raw land, foundation, framing, and final trim work, Chris grew up with a hammer in his hands. It was only natural for Chris to continue a career in construction.

As a young man Chris worked for a log home builder where he learned the aspects of running a saw mill, operating a loader to transport logs, timber framing, dovetail work, mortise and tenon joints. In the off season Chris would then work for a local Contractor and assisted in building cottages, additions, cabinetry, roofing, flooring, trim, and drywall work.

Chris has spent the last 20 years working as a roofer, including the roofers union, Local 27, and as a roofing sub-contractor for different companies in the GTA, London Ontario, and his own private work. For the last 5 plus years Chris and Lauren have built their own business, Jenkins Roofing & Construction.

Lauren spent over 10 years working her way up through the ranks in a corporate 500 company to a management position. Lauren was sent to asses different locations that were struggling and find solutions to improve company morale, revenue, and customer service. Lauren decided she wanted to spend more time with family and utilize her experience to help build a family owned and operated business. Lauren resigned from her corporate position in 2018 and has since been applying her expertise to help make Jenkins Roofing & Construction a successful business.

Chris and Lauren wanted to build a business together that would represent their proven commitment to hard work, and passion for excellent customer service. They wanted to build a company that is willing to go the extra mile for every client. They have always poured 150% commitment and passion into their work and wanted that enthusiasm to reflect in the business they owned and operated.

Additionally, Chris and Lauren have had the opportunity to completely renovate two homes of their own, and during this experience Chris re-discovered his passion for home renovations. He has grown his network and has established working relationships with local electricians, plumbers and gas fitters.

Today Chris and Lauren have been happily married for 6 years, and have a wonderful daughter named River. They are very family oriented and spend all their free time together enjoying local venues and activities.
